King Stewart is an Artist originally from Kansas now residing in Wyoming. King Stewart started out as a Poet in High School after seeing a local R&B group known as “Last Mynute” performing songs for a High School club during Lunch one day, seeing the group perform inspired King Stewart to want to start writing songs or poems himself as he loved what he saw and heard. He worked on writing Poetry for some time until he turned 18 when he met a member of another Hip Hop crew “Moody Loc” at his job in South Hutchinson, Kansas known as “Human Instruments”, Moody Loc along with other members of the Crew (Jamil Mustafa, Nandez, Verbal Plague, DJ 300 Beats & Daddy D) took King under their wing and taught him everything he would need to know about being a songwriter, artist and performing as well as how to Professionally record and release Music.

While at work one night King Stewart had heard a Co-Worker freestyling in the breakroom and he thought it was outstanding so he asked the guy “Hey Man, do you rap or make music?” The guy replied “No, I just do it for fun but Keon does”, King then approached Keon (Moody Loc) and asked him if he made music and Moody replied “Yeah”, King then told Moody he himself had been writing poems and wanted to see if he would want to use any of his poems in his music? Moody told King, “Nah I write my own songs but if you want you can spit one of your poems on one of my songs or you can use one of the beats I have for a song of your own”, this really motivated King to take Music serious and start perfecting his craft and turning his poetry into lyrics.

As time went on Moody and Jamil began Mentoring King, teaching him how to write and structure songs and create clever rhyme schemes along with the help of another member of the Crew “Nandez”, King was able to record and release his first Single entitled “Still I Rise”.

After this, King went on to further perfecting his craft as well as make as many contacts in the Music, T.V. and Film industries not only for himself as an Artist but to help his Crew members with their Music. King connected with people all over Los Angeles, New York, Canada and Florida just to name a few. His connections ranged from Grammy Winning Music Producers, A – List Artists, Film Directors/Producers, A&Rs at Major Record Labels, Photographers, Managers etc…..

King later realized that he needed to relocate if he wanted to be taken serious and take his music along with his Crew members music to the right people. This led King to move to Wyoming to be with Family and get more focused on his craft.

Since living in Wyoming, King has not only tripled the amount of connections he has in not only Entertainment but other Industries as well.

Through the help of Crew member/Producer Jamil, King once again picked up the Pen and Paper and began writing songs after a little hiatus where he had focused primarily on making connections in the Entertainment Industry, during the hiatus King was able to figure out who he is and wanted to be as an Artist and has recently released two new singles “Treat Me Right” and “Are You the One”
